About Alfred Street Early Education Centre
Alfred Street Early Learning centre is a proud owned and operated centre, our families are at the heart of everything we do. Nestled in the bustling Granville area our centre is a cut above the rest.
Since January 2021, Alfred Street Early Learning Education has been under new management. Having been a part of the Granville community for nearly two decades the opportunity to purchase back the centre came full circle in early January.
Situated close to Parramatta Road, our child care centre we have ample parking and situated close to popular bus routes and only a few minutes from Granville train station. Our centre is situated near local primary schools, shops, park and facilities.
Our centre has been designed to nurture and inspire a learning environment for both children and educators, with plenty of outdoor space for children to explore and use their creativity and for children to inherit connection to the natural world.
Since taking over management the centre has undergone some renovations to include
- A new interactive library
- Expandable rooms providing an open plan centre, encouraging playtime
- Freshly painted rooms
- Upgrade to our commercial kitchen to provide nutritious meals everyday

We have our son Lucas at this childcare centre and it has been a truly wonderful experience over the past year and a half. The educators are kind, caring and attentive — they always go the extra mile to make sure Lucas is safe, happy and thriving. Even the smallest incidents are communicated clearly with a phone call, which gives us great peace of mind as parents. Lucas really loves and trusts his educators. Thyda, Vilma, Mahdieh, Leslie and many others have all provided him with warmth, care, and support, helping him grow into a cheerful and confident little boy. The centre director, Mahran, is incredibly responsible and supportive — always patient and proactive in resolving any issues. We’re so grateful to have found such a nurturing environment for our son. Highly recommend!

I cannot rate the centre and the amazing staff highly enough! I have 3 children that attend the centre, 2 of which started their childcare journey at 4 months old. From the first day the staff have been amazing, always giving updates on their day and providing exceptional care. I have never worried about the children after drop off, as I know they will have a fun filled day. At pick up at the end of the day, there is always a staff member more than happy to help me with the 3 kids to the car ensuring they are safe in the car park. All of the educators and the director are the most beautiful people. They are part of our children’s extended family and we appreciate them all.
