About Albert Street Children's Centre
About Albert Street Children's Centre Long Daycare and Preschool
Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
We provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

If I could add more stars I would! We have been offered a spot at a daycare closer to home and work, but have chosen to stay at Albert St as we are so happy. The covered drive thru drop off area is so convenient. My sister was asked for ID and confirmed as an authorised contact before collecting my child. This was very reassuring. Lunch menu is clearly displayed for all to see. Communication is great, both in person and via the app - photos, food, toileting, naps, sunscreen etc Staff turnover appears to be minimal. Staff are all very caring. Centre manager has gone above and beyond explaining the CCS to ensure parents are optimising their rebate. Very happy parents and child!

Amazing team and centre! With my 3 children attending across almost 10 years, we’ve always had positive experiences! The team display great communication and obviously love what they do. Our kids have made many friendships, gained many skills and learnt a lot! Our family are sad that we’ve recently finished up as the educators have become our second family. Would highly recommend any family looking for an outstanding daycare centre to pop in and see if it suits your needs.

A great centre who always go above and beyond. The staff are amazing, the facilities are great and overall we have had the best experience over the last 8+ years. Highly recommended.
