Active Kids Pre School Centre of Excellence

At Active Kids Homebush we are proud to have been operating in the community since 1997. We provide an educational program designed for children from 8 weeks to 6 years and offer a range of extracurricular activities.

Our centre has a purpose-built children’s kitchen where children can participate in cooking experiences and explore foods from different cultures. We focus on sustainability by reusing materials like tyres, pots, and pans, and using produce from our gardens in our meals. Families can take home our fresh produce and worm tea for their plants. Our community engagement is driven by the children’s interests, such as adopting a Sumatran Tiger from Taronga Zoo, supporting Australian wildlife by adopting a Koala, and maintaining a street library.

Our centre is open Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

Our fees are all-inclusive and cover daily essentials such as nappies, formula, hats, sunscreen, and meals. We also include all extracurricular activities with no additional charges.

Our centre coordinator, Denise has been part of the AKG Family since 2007. Denise leads a team of dedicated and committed qualified Early Childhood Educators who understand that Early Learning occurs in environments where children feel safe, secure, and protected.
