Active Kids After School Care - St Mary's, Casino

Our service at St Mary's Casino offers quality Before, After and Vacation Care from the grounds of the school. Our Vacation Care service is open to children of ALL primary schools. Our After School Care is also open to children from Casino Public School (CPS); more information on how students of CPS get to Active Kids is available upon enquiry. 

Our Before School Care program runs from 6:45am to bell time. We provide a healthy breakfast too. In the cooler months this is often porridge, or a cooked meal. During the warmer months we have breakfast foods like cereal and bacon and eggs but their is always a variety the kids can choose from as well as big bowl of fruit. 

Our After School Care program runs from bell time to 6pm. We provide a nutritious afternoon tea and there is always something new, maybe a yoghurt bar or hummus and veggie sticks or some freshly popped popcorn and we have at least 4 different variety of fruits and veggies to choose from. Of an afternoon we play a fun physical activity, children are able to complete their homework if they wish and there is plenty of time for games and craft too.

We run Vacation Care from 7:30am - 6pm during school holidays and on Staff Development days too. We spend all term creating the best Vacation Care program possible! It changes every term but we have 3 main activities a day. In the past we have had visits from hip hop dance teachers, visits to parks and the local pool, we've had some awesome activities like jumping castles, giant obstacle courses and laser skirmish. We often have professional athletes come in and run clinics with us too. Our staff go above and beyond to make each activity as special and memorable as possible.
