About TRY Richmond Multicultural Children's Centre
Outside there is a large shady playground and vegetable garden, which backs onto the Richmond Community Oval. The children can play in the sandpit, cubby house, and slide.
Next door to Richmond High School and across the road from Richmond Recreation Centre, the centre is just minutes away from the closest tram stop that takes you to the centre of Melbourne. Many families walk to the centre, leave their prams in the storage area and jump on the tram into the city. The centre is open from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.

My child loves it here. I was nervous about sending him to daycare, but he has made a very smooth transition here. It’s a lovely small centre, and even before he started everyone in the building knew my child’s name. The indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely, and they even have chickens and a rabbit. Would recommend without hesitation.

Great centre in the heart of Richmond, next to parks and away from busy roads. Professional and friendly educators, with a fabulous indoor and outdoor program and initiatives like the sustainability garden, native garden, pet animals, incursions, excursions and much more, creating a family friendly and nurturing learning environment where my kids love to go.
