The staff is really friendly and lots of learning opportunities are offered for the children throughout the different age groups. The environment is really inviting for the children and it feels really welcoming for all the families.

Meet the team

The friendly, multicultural team have a flexible approach to learning. They use the pace of the children and allow them to learn through play and lead their own journey. The staff aim to provide a balance of experiences including indoor and outdoor; active and passive; individual, small and larger group experiences.

The educators are focused on community involvement and support many local charities through fundraisers and fun days at the centre.

A focus on sustainability means that natural and recycled materials are part of the curriculum, which will stimulate children’s curiosity to nurture creativity and self-esteem. Parents are encouraged to bring in recyclables for the children to use in their arts and craft.

Technology forms part of the learning program and there are interactive whiteboards and screens for showing educational programs, which help the children prepare for school. Monitors in each room show the children’s daily activities. Parents can access photos and updates about their child’s day through the centre’s free app.

I have a deep passion for children and their development and truly value the importance of learning through play. So children gain positive experiences they need to be offered challenging, stimulating experiences, within an environment they feel supported, safe and secure.

- Kimberley Formosa, Centre Manager

Children are taught about the benefits of growing your own food by helping out with the centre’s own vegetable garden. They also take part in cooking lessons with the centre chef and educators in the industrial
