About Buttercups Childcare

Building Brighter Futures is not just a ‘catch phrase’.
It is our passion and total commitment to providing a warm, friendly home environment to ensure your child has the best possible start in life.
We are a family owned independent childcare and early learning service, with a focus and passion based on education, wellbeing, and care of your child.

Our dedicated and committed multicultural staff always have the time to smile and energy to interact with your child while delivering the core parts of the Early Learning Framework through education, communication, fun, and play.

Our Educational Leader, Marcia
Marcia has been in the education/childcare industry for over 25 years working with children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. She has managed a 90 place centre in the UK, has been a private Nanny and taught English on a one to one basis.

She has both the UK and Australian diplomas in child care and education.

It is a pure delight to see the genuine smile on Marcia’s face each morning when she meets and greets you and your child.

We enjoy seeing the reactions from children with a mutual love and joy seeing ‘Miss Marcia’! It is what child care is all about.

Marcia’s philosophy
“As a committed and passionate early childhood educator, I believe every child responds to love and positive care.

From a very early age, I have never wanted anything more than to work and care for young children.

I take pride in seeing children develop in a caring educational environment while providing the assurance of love and care, a philosophy I share with Buttercups.

I understand children have different needs and learning abilities. It is my passion to ensure I recognize their uniqueness and allow development at their pace.

I never tire of seeing a child’s face burst into a smile, each time they walk into the room.

I always show patience, understanding, and care for every child. It is a real pleasure to be given the opportunity to have such an impact on their early learning years”.

Understanding you and your child
At Buttercups we take the time to get to know you and understand your child. We recognize every child has different learning development abilities, to accommodate these individualities we develop a program specific to each child attending Buttercups.

We want to get to know you and hear about your family interests, events, birthdays, cultures and hobbies. At Buttercups we encourage open communication between parents, carers and staff.

Positive communication with parents and carers, helps us to provide a nurturing and caring environment for your child. Your child will grow, be valued, rewarded with their efforts and contributions recognised no matter how small.

Buttercups Childcare Reviews

  • Vanessa - about 1 year ago

We are so unbelievably happy with Buttercups. The team are amazingly attentive and they genuinely love being with the kids. Everyone greets you hello in the morning and goodbye at night. It’s clear they know what they are doing and put your child’s safety first. They are also extremely creative with their curriculum and I feel my child is getting a real leg up in life.

Very happy with Buttercups, our daughter started at another centre and it didn't work out for her, she has settled in so well at Buttercups. Such a beautiful environment and lovely staff. Highly recommend it!
