Toddle has launched its child care centre market comparison website – toddle.com.au - to the market, with major players G8 Education and Affinity Education Group already signed up to the service which promises to revolutionise the way we search, interact with and ultimately choose a child care centre for our families.

With Scott Morrison yesterday announcing free child care for working parents during the Coronavirus, Toddle makes it easier for all parents to find the right child care for their children. Reacting to the pandemic, the website will at this time prioritise essential services workers to ensure they can keep working.

Toddle Founder and CEO, Arthur Charlaftis said

“The Government’s relief to child care centres comes at a crucial time for our country’s 13,000 centres, to continue to keep people in jobs both in essential services and in child care, maintain our economy and to ensure our children are engaged.”

“Choosing child care is a stressful experience and Toddle takes out the guesswork, aggregating options and presenting the truth in an understandable and engaging way. Child care isn’t a one size fits all approach and Toddle has been developed to better showcase centres to allow a more educated decision-making process,” continued Mr Charlaftis.

“Having owned and operated child care centres for over 20 years with my wife, we are big advocates for child care and its importance in early childhood development. We are not taking away from the important job that parents do, but now more than ever with more children at home due to Coronavirus, parents are probably developing an all new appreciation for our child care centres, because filling an hour with toddlers, let alone a full day, can prove challenging for most,” said Mr Charlaftis.

Launched this year and in its growth trajectory, the business has been developed in a ‘consumer first’ way with the user experience designed to provide parents a child’s view of the child care centre from menus to lesson plans, indoor and outdoor play areas and more adult relevant content in parent and carer case studies and all-important third-party reviews.

The revenue model is that of a tiered subscription with free listings available for every child care centre in Australia, followed by a standard monthly package where the child care centre provides content and a more premium service employing Toddle to create professional content for the centre.
